3 exams for MockPlaces

Artificial Intelligence
FreeMockPlaces Prompt Engineering Fundamentals (MPF 101)
The MockPlaces Prompt Engineering Fundamentals (MPF 101) is the entry-level certification in MockPlaces' two-part Prompt Engineering track. It certifies that a candidate understands how large language models process prompts and can write clear, effective, well-structured prompts for everyday AI interaction. The examination covers important areas such as Foundational AI and LLM Concepts , Core Prompt Engineering Principles , Basic Prompting Techniques , Prompt Evaluation, Iteration, and Common Pitfalls , and Responsible and Safe AI Interaction . Candidates are expected to demonstrate accurate recall of foundational LLM terminology (tokens, context, temperature), sound judgement in constructing and refining prompts for common tasks, and awareness of the limitations and responsible-use considerations that come with prompting AI systems. MPF 101 is designed as a prerequisite mindset for MockPlaces Prompt Engineering Professional (MPF 102) , which builds on these fundamentals with advanced, production-oriented prompting techniques.

Artificial Intelligence
FreePrompt Engineering Professional (MPF 102)
The MockPlaces Prompt Engineering Professional (MPF 102) is the advanced certification in MockPlaces' two-part Prompt Engineering track. It certifies that a candidate can design, secure, evaluate, and productionize sophisticated prompting solutions — going well beyond the single-prompt fundamentals covered in MPF 101. The examination covers important areas such as Advanced Reasoning and Prompting Techniques , Retrieval-Augmented Generation and External Knowledge Integration , Prompt Chaining, Agents, and Tool Use , Prompt Security, Robustness, and Evaluation , and Production Prompt Management and Optimization . Candidates are expected to demonstrate accurate recall of advanced prompting terminology, sound judgement in designing multi-step and tool-using prompt workflows, and a working understanding of how to secure, evaluate, and operate prompting systems at production scale. MPF 102 assumes candidates have either completed MockPlaces Prompt Engineering Fundamentals (MPF 101) or have equivalent hands-on experience, and builds directly on that foundation without repeating it — this exam does not re-test basic tokens/temperature/zero-shot content, which remains the domain of MPF 101.
