The Google Associate Cloud Engineer practice examination assesses a candidate's ability to deploy and secure applications, services, and infrastructure; monitor operations across multiple projects; and maintain enterprise solutions that meet target performance metrics.

Candidates are expected to perform common platform-based tasks using the Google Cloud console and command-line tools while working with Google-managed and self-managed services. The exam covers five domains: Setting Up a Cloud Solution Environment, Planning and Configuring a Cloud Solution, Deploying and Implementing a Cloud Solution, Ensuring Successful Operation of a Cloud Solution, and Configuring Access and Security.

The official standard exam lasts two hours, contains 50–60 multiple-choice and multiple-select questions, costs $125 plus applicable tax, is available in English, Japanese, Spanish, and Portuguese, has no formal prerequisites, and remains valid for three years. Google recommends at least six months of hands-on Google Cloud experience.

This is an original MockPlaces practice syllabus. It is not an official Google Cloud examination paper and does not reproduce official or confidential examination questions.
