The Google Cloud Digital Leader practice examination assesses a candidate's ability to explain cloud computing concepts, articulate the business value of Google Cloud products and services, and recognize how cloud solutions support organizational goals.
The examination covers Digital Transformation with Google Cloud, Exploring Data Transformation with Google Cloud, Innovating with Google Cloud Artificial Intelligence, Modernizing Infrastructure and Applications with Google Cloud, Trust and Security with Google Cloud, and Scaling with Google Cloud Operations.
This is a role-independent, foundational certification. It does not require hands-on technical experience, although experience collaborating with technical professionals is recommended. The standard certification exam currently contains 50–60 multiple-choice questions, lasts 90 minutes, costs $99 plus applicable tax, has no prerequisites, and remains valid for three years.
Currency note: Google Cloud states that the current exam guide remains available through August 11, 2026, with an updated exam launching on August 12, 2026. This syllabus is aligned to the current guide as of July 26, 2026 and should be reviewed before use after August 11, 2026.
